How to use

  • ATELIER295 is a multipurpose rental space with a kitchen that can be used for a variety of purposes. It is a completely private room with tableware and cutlery, so all you need to do is bring in your own food. The maximum number of guests is 10.

There are certain rules that we always ask you to follow in order to enjoy using ATELIER295.

    • Do not talk loudly or in a large group on the street

    • Do not play instruments

    • Do not open windows when guests are engaged in a loud conversation

    • No smoking inside

    • Please wash, wipe, and put back dishes and cookware.

    • Please take your garbage home with you.(Can be collected for a fee)

To use ATELIER295 as a cafe, restaurant, or preparation space for catering, A Food Hygiene Manager Certificate (食品衛生責任者証)is necessary. It is also necessary to contact us first, for we can not allow the business use mentioned above without our permission.

Can I operate a restaurant business, cafe business, and sell processed food products?

Please contact us first. We will explain the items required for restaurant business and precautions for using this space.

We will also make a preliminary inspection and meeting with you to discuss your needs, as there may be many things we cannot understand without actually checking the site.

Please note that we may refuse to allow you to use the restaurant if we determine that you have concerns about your ability to manage hygiene or your responsibility.

I would like to sell food products made in ATELIER 295 outside.

Please contact us first. Some foods cannot be prepared in this space.

We will explain the necessary items for preparation and precautions for using this space, and to check the operation.

Please note that we may decline your request if we determine that you have concerns about your hygiene management skills or responsibility.

We would like to conduct cooking classes and workshops.

If you wish to offer cooking classes or workshops to your friends only, you do not need to submit any documents.

I would like to use it as a location for filming.

Filming is possible, but since the space is about 25 square meters including the kitchen, it is possible that the entire crew may not be able to enter for TV shoots, etc. Also, location buses cannot be parked on the street for long periods of time. This space is best used for small-scale filming, such as for a Youtube video.

I would like to use the outside benches to seat guests and open all the windows.

However, we may not be able to meet your request if you are using the space for café, restaurant business, or parties.

If the sound of conversation or background music leaks outside, we ask that you close the windows and doors. (Ventilation is sufficient as long as the ventilation fan is turned on.)

Also, if guests stay on the street and talk for a long period of time, it may cause inconvenience to people living in the neighborhood.

Does preparation/clean-up need to be done within the appointment time?

Please prepare and clean up within the reserved time. Even if you arrive early, you may not be able to enter due to cleaning or other reasons. If there are other reservations immediately after you arrive, you will not be able to use the room for an extension. An extension fee will be charged for extended use.

Do you have seasonings, aluminum foil, food wrap, etc. available?

Seasonings, aluminum foil, food wraps, etc. are not available for rent. Sponges, detergent, and cloths are available.

Is there a supermarket nearby?

The nearest one is My basket Other stores include Life, just a short walk from Oshiage Station, and Food Marche (Sawako, New Quick, Uoriki, Tomiz, Kitano Ace, Cardi Coffee) on the second floor of Tokyo Solamachi.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. No ashtrays are available.

Can you do a charcoal grill?

Charcoal grilling is not available.
